Please join us in prayer for a Filipino front-line worker, currently doing ministry further afield.
“Last Wednesday, I set out from Southern Philippines, crossing the sea by ferry to a Muslim nation in Southeast Asia. As I journeyed into this new land, I held six New Testament Bibles, carrying with me the hope of peace and the message of Christ.
“Upon arrival, I was confronted by customs police. They examined my bag carefully and noticed the Bibles. They asked me, ‘Why are you bringing Bibles with Arabic letters to our country?’ I responded simply, ‘This book is a tool for peace, and I am a peacemaker.’
“They asked about my religion, and I shared honestly, ‘I don’t have a religion, but I follow Isa Almasih—Jesus Christ—who teaches love and peace.’ The interrogation lasted about an hour, but I felt the Lord’s divine hand guiding me.
“When the officers told me to take the Bibles and leave, I humbly requested permission to stay and share; fortunately, the officers agreed, and I seized the moment to talk about peace, friendship, and love. This experience reminded me of Romans 8:38-39: ‘For I am convinced that neither death nor life… will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’ God’s grace was evident, allowing me to stay and share the message of peace.
“Though a faithful believer in the Philippines, who is a passionate evangelist to Filipino Muslims, I was able to meet some tribal Christians and community leaders [location withheld], opening doors for meaningful ministry. I was given the opportunity to meet Haruun, a respected community leader and chieftain. As a leader, Haruun holds significant influence over his community, and I longed to share the love and salvation found in Christ with him.
“When I finally spoke to Haruun, I shared the assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ. To my joy and gratitude, Haruun openly confessed Christ as his Lord and Saviour! We prayed together, celebrating this divine transformation, a true miracle of grace.
“Later, I had the privilege of speaking to Bible school students and church leaders about – ‘Reaching One Thousand Evangelists to Impact One Million Muslims’. Most responded enthusiastically, though some shared challenges, including fears of outreach. I encouraged them with 2 Timothy 1:7, For the Spirit of God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline. I urged them to step out boldly, trusting in God’s divine presence to empower their efforts. Many hearts were stirred and renewed in faith.
“I am confident that God’s plans for [location withheld] are just beginning, and I eagerly anticipate what He will do next. We are excited for the remaining days of ministry here— to obey His will and fulfil His purpose. I cling to the Word of God: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news (Romans 10:15).
“Please pray for the remaining days of ministry. For open hearts, divine protection, boldness among believers, and divine encounters. May revival be ignited, and may every effort be fruitful for His glory.”
